We understand your success is personal, so our online Master of Financial Planning is tailored to ensure you meet your career goals, with flexible entry and exit points.

This means you can enrol into the Masters and, after completing four units, exit with a Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning. After completing eight units, you can exit with a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Alternatively, you can enter into the Masters with credit for past skills and /or study - known as Recognition for Prior Learning (RPL).

Units of study

VU Online’s Master of Financial Planning will allow you to build a well-rounded understanding of what is required to be an accredited financial planner. You will develop your foundational knowledge and gain advanced skills. You will also gain a FASEA-approved degree. 

You will complete 12 units in total and each study period will last for seven weeks.

Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning

Units of study

VU Online’s Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning will allow you to become a financial adviser with a deep understanding of the relevant legal and ethical requirements. You will also gain a FASEA-approved degree.

This course consists of eight subjects in total and can be completed in as little as 16 months.
